Volunteer at The MoonWalk London 2021! Event Volunteering with Walk the Walk is a fun, rewarding and memorable experience... we couldn't do what we do without YOU!
Over 2,000 amazing Volunteers form the backbone of the Walk the Walk Team, providing support, encouragement and (most importantly) hugs to the Walkers during our iconic MoonWalk challenges. Whether you are new to us, an ex-walker or a seasoned member we would love you to join our incredible family!
Thousands of women and men take part in The MoonWalk London... a Night Walk starting in the evening right through to Sunday afternoon. There are over 30 roles to choose from and, for the benefit of our Volunteers, these are split into manageable stints... although there are some amazing Volunteers who spend the whole time with us!
For more information about the times and roles, we offer please read below or take a look at the In Depth Information, clicking on the box above.
Third time volunteering & just get a great feeling encouraging everyone, cheering them on!- Jan
Join in the party atmosphere at MoonWalk City, starting around 5pm through to midnight (date tbc). Help us make this a night to remember by choosing one of our 30 different roles... there is something for everyone!
MoonWalk City based roles start around 10pm on Saturday through to 6am Sunday morning. Start times on the route vary between 7pm to 11pm, depending on what part of the route you are based, and last on average 8 hours.
This is the perfect time slot to cheer friends or family over the Finish Line... just request an early finish!
Volunteers that are early birds can support our Walkers towards the end of their journey... the most testing and inspirational part of their challenge! Starting around 5am on Sunday through to lunch time, once the last Walker crosses the Finish Line.
"They were ALL amazing! For me, it was like having your mum, sister, brother, dad, grandma, auntie wishing you well at every corner, so full of love and genuine kind wishes, really kept me going. And they had a tough long night too so I have total admiration for them all." Jo
My friend and I volunteered this year, we were at about the 11 mile mark, what a truly amazing experience.- Natalie
You will be certain to make friends on the night, but why not encourage friends or family to join you and share the experience? Let us know and we guarantee you will be together!
