If you have entered one of our Challenges or Virtual Events you can find your online page by following this link (coming soon) and entering your name.
You need to enter a challenge first. As part of your entry your fundraising page will be created for you! Make your page personal to you. Add a photograph and tell the world why you are taking part. Making your page personal really gets results. You are then ready to start sharing the link to your online fundraising page! It’s as simple as that.
If you are holding your own event and would like a fundraising page then please click here.
Before you enter a challenge you will need to decide if you are going to fundraise as part of a team. If this is the case, you will need to either create a team or join an existing team when you are registering for your event. This means you and your teammates will be walking and fundraising together and a team fundraising page will be created for you. The first person to register needs to create the team and will become the team leader.
You have a team and would like to fundraise together, but are unsure of where to start? We have made it easy for you! All you need to do is follow these four steps:
Please be aware that only the team leader can add a team photo to the Team Fundraising Page and edit the ‘Story’ section to tell supporters why you are all Walking the Walk. They can do this by clicking on “Edit this Team Page”.
Unlike the traditional methods of fundraising, we receive your online sponsorship money quickly. This means we can grant it to the places that need it quickly too! Not only that, but about 80% of donations made online are applicable for Gift Aid (compared to about only 30% made through sponsorship forms). As the basic rate of tax is 20%, this means that if you give £10 using Gift Aid, it’s worth £12.50 to the charity.
A multi-challenge page is just for you! Please contact us and we will send you a link to set one up.
If you are not taking part in one of our challenges but wish to fundraise for us on a fundraising page regardless, please contact us.
Drop us an email or call us on 01483 741430 and we will happily help you.
