Step 1: you need to enter a challenge first. As part of your entry your fundraising page will be created for you! If you are not taking part in a challenge but would still like to fundraise please read below.
Step 2: Make your page personal to you! Add a photograph and tell the world why you are taking part.
In just two minutes you can have your online fundraising page ready to go! We have made the process as easy as possible. Once you’ve entered your details and uploaded a photo of yourself (making your page personal really gets results) you are ready to start sharing the link to your online fundraising page! It’s as simple as that.
Unlike the traditional methods of fundraising, we receive your online sponsorship money quickly. This means we can grant it to the places that need it quickly too! Not only that, but about 80% of donations made online are applicable for Gift Aid (compared to about only 30% made through sponsorship forms). As the basic rate of tax is 20%, this means that if you give £10 using Gift Aid, it’s worth £12.50 to the charity.
You have a team and you would like to fundraise together, but unsure of where to start? We made it easy for you! All you need to do is follow these four steps:
Please be aware that only the team leader can add a team photo to the Team Fundraising Page and edit the ‘Story’ section to tell supporters why you are all Walking the Walk. They can do this by clicking on “Edit this Team Page”.
Fantastic! Now you need to add those personal touches and share it with the world. We have some absolutely brilliant tips on how to get that fundraising rolling in! Posting regular updates, photos and personalising your page can really make a difference. Find out how to get the most of your page here. Or take a look at this page for inspiration.
A multi-challenge page is just for you! Please contact us and we will be able to convert your page for you (and delete any extras).
If you are not taking part in one of our challenges but wish to fundraise for us on a fundraising page regardless, please contact us.
Get in touch with the team at Everydayhero (Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm)
If you do need to speak to a person, make sure you leave a phone number and ask for a call back in any of the methods above. Just to note that the response time will be slower if you do.
Look great as you get ready for your Walk the Walk challenge
