Come and join us!

Volunteer at The MoonWalk Scotland 2022! Event Volunteering with Walk the Walk is a fun, rewarding and memorable experience... we couldn't do what we do without YOU!

Over 1,000 amazing Volunteers form the backbone of the Walk the Walk Team, providing support, encouragement and (most importantly) hugs to the Walkers during our iconic MoonWalk challenges. Whether you are new to us, an ex-walker or a seasoned member we would love you to join our incredible family!

Thousands of women and men take part in The MoonWalk Scotland... a Night Walk starting in the evening of Saturday right through to Sunday afternoon. There are over 30 roles to choose from and, for the benefit of our Volunteers, these are split into manageable stints... although there are some amazing Volunteers who spend the whole time with us!

For more information about the times and roles, we offer please read below or take a look at the In Depth Information, clicking on the box above.

I had a great time volunteering on Saturday in between mile 5 & 6, well done to everyone who took part!- Natalie

When will I be needed?

Evening Crew

Join in the party atmosphere at MoonWalk City, starting around 6pm through to midnight on Saturday 11th June 2022. Help us make this a night to remember by choosing one of our 30 different roles... there is something for everyone!

Overnight Crew

MoonWalk City based roles start around 10pm on Saturday through to 6am Sunday morning. Start times on the route vary between 9pm to 1am, depending on what part of the route you are based, and last on average 8 hours.

This is the perfect time slot to cheer friends or family over the Finish Line... just request an early finish!

Sunday Morning Crew

Volunteers that are early birds can support our Walkers towards the end of their journey... the most testing and inspirational part of their challenge! Starting around 5am on Sunday through to lunch time, once the last Walker crosses the Finish Line.

Don't take our word for it

Really is part of the magic of moonwalk!! Thank you soo much!! If there is ever a year I can't partake in the walk I will be there volunteering to give a something back!! Thank you!!! X" - Lorz
