Christmas message from Nina
New challenges you are going to love, coming very soon… and whilst we have been saying it for many years, every day science and the media are confirming the enormous benefits of Walking!
If you or someone you know has any symptoms that might be linked to breast or other cancers, don’t wait, visit your doctor now!

Hello all you wonderful Walk the Walkers, Supporters, Volunteers and anybody that knows and loves us… I can’t believe the end of the year and our 20 year celebrations is almost here. But what a year it has been, not without its ups and downs but we have had just wonderful challenges and events with lots of you finding Walk the Walk for the first time.
Being finalists in the Pride of Sport Awards, holding our first bra exhibition for many years at the Good Housekeeping Institute, but… the highlight for me has to be a reception hosted by our Patron, His Royal Highness Prince Charles… it was tremendous and joyous and to make it even better, the cherry on the top is the £7.6 million (so far) of fantastic fundraising that has smashed our total for the previous year!
So 2016, you have been good to us, warts and all, but I can sneakily let you know, 2017 is already hot on the heels and looking good! The Roaring 20’s comes to The MoonWalk London, another celebration not to miss... new challenges you are going to love are coming very soon… and whilst we have been saying it for many years, every day science and the media are confirming the enormous benefits of Walking!
But that is all to come, for now, kick off those shoes, enjoy being with those you love and care for, and eat far too much pud!
Have a wonderful Christmas and festive season… and then bring on the New Year I say!
Thank you for uniting with us against breast cancer.
Nina x
