Wow, what a day and week we have planned... whatever distance you have chosen or day you plan to walk, we will be here every day to help and support you along the way... ready for our grand finale Finish Line on the 15th August celebrating your achievement!

If you plan to use Strava automatically through your online fundraising page, don't forget to make sure your Strava is set to "Everyone" so we can read your profile and post your fitness activity to your page whilst you are completing your challenge.

Smoothies, Snacks, Scavenger Hunt and more!

Have you tried any of our smoothie or snack recipes from the Festival Kit yet... make sure you do... they are utterly delicious, full of good stuff and most of all will give you that energy boost to keep going!

If you are taking on longer distances, we cannot stress how important it is to keep hydrated and your energy levels up, especially as it looks like being a hot one in many areas! Aim to eat a high carb meal the night before each long challenge walk… wholemeal pasta is a great choice, plus, don't forget to pack some healthy snacks, nuts fruit, energy bars or try the very delicious roasted seeds recipe too munch on and keep you going!

For big people and small… get all the family involved and create your very own Finish Line with our bra, flower and traditional Bunting, plus join the Scavenger Hunt game whilst on your travels! Heads up... a prize will be up for grabs... but more on the competition to follow.

Make a Difference...

Our first £20,000 Emergency Grant went to the wonderful FACT (Fighting All Cancers Together). This grant is already enabling them to continue to make a difference in a part of the country that really needs support during these next few difficult months.

Keep your eyes peeled to see where our next Emergency Grant will go... one thing for certain, with extended waiting times for cancer patients to be seen, we must continue to do what we can and help frontline cancer services... and we can only do it with your amazing help!  

Keep updating and sharing your online fundraising page with your challenge walks, upload pics along the way... take your friends and family on the journey with you (virtually)... let your fun stories do the asking for you... and see that well-deserved money come rolling in.

 Together we can continue to help amazing charities like FACT during these very challenging times.
