Walk the Walk Launches Three Unique Camino Challenges for 2025
Get ready to push your limits and take on one of three very different challenges on the famous Camino trail in Spain and Portugal: - 100 miles in 5 days; an ultra-challenge of 75 miles in 3 days, and a dual discipline of cycling and walking 175 miles in six days.

Cancer charity Walk the Walk invites you to join these extraordinary Camino adventures, created for every ability to test endurance, inspire growth, and create lasting memories. Meanwhile, every mile counts in helping those living with breast and other cancers.

Three unique challenges, two countries, one goal … Walk the Walk take on these ancient Camino paths, with a very 21st century twist!

Camino Portugués (27th September – 5th October 2025)
A new and exciting Camino challenge follows the rugged and breathtaking Atlantic coast from Porto in Portugal, to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. This dual-discipline challenge combines 3 days cycling and 3 days walking, covering a groundbreaking 173 miles in just 6 days. A less travelled path, this unique challenge is unlike any other on the Camino.

Andy Hudson completed the Camino Portugués in 2024.
“The very different way in which Walk the Walk does the Camino Portugues really appealed to me. Taking on the first half of the challenge on a bike and the second half on foot made it special and I’d 100 per cent recommend it to anyone!”

Camino 100 (28th September – 5th October 2025)
Ideal for new Camino challengers, as well as for seasoned adventurers. Starting at the iconic Mount O’Cebreiro in Spain, this route takes participants through ever changing terrain of woodland, farms, small towns and villages to reach the ultimate goal of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. You’ll cover 100 miles in just five days, double the typical Camino distance over the same period.

Julia Davis took part in the Camino 100 challenge just months after being given the all-clear from breast cancer. “I completed my challenge wrapped up with the love, strength and courage from all my family and friends at home believing in me, and with Walk the Walk and my team sharing each step. The money we raised will help so many people and has helped change my story. Everyone needs to experience the Camino journey; I will always carry it in my heart.”

Camino Journey to the Edge of the World (24th September – 29th September 2025)
This ultra-challenge is the toughest of the three, a walking challenge in Spain that covers 75 miles in just three days, over challenging and undulating terrain. Starting in Santiago de Compostela, and finishing in the famous Finisterre, believed in Medieval times to be the edge of the world. An exhilarating experience, this journey requires determination and physical endurance, whilst offering breath-taking views as you walk towards the coastline.

Sylvie Legenne signed up for Camino Journey 5 years after her breast cancer diagnosis.
“It left me with profound feelings of gratefulness and fulfilment, after having walked 75 miles in just three days, to honour those who are in the fight for their lives and to remember those we have lost.”
