Blue Monday (Mon 20th Jan), known as the most depressing day of the year, is upon us - but it doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom! Turn the misery into excitement by signing up for one of Walk the Walk’s extraordinary challenges. From the breathtaking landscapes of Iceland to the iconic trails of the Camino, these unforgettable challenges are the perfect antidote to the January blues.

The Perfect Antidote to Blue Monday

The MoonWalk Iceland 2025
This unique night-time walking challenge takes participants through Iceland’s spectacular Lake Mývatn region, combining adventure with endurance. Over six exhilarating days (29th May – 3rd June 2025), participants will complete an overnight marathon while enjoying the magic of Iceland, from whale-watching and volcanic hikes to relaxing in the Blue Lagoon. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime challenge in the Land of Fire and Ice. In true MoonWalk tradition, participants proudly wear decorated bras or brightly coloured bra t-shirts symbolizing courage, unity, and the fight against cancer.
The Camino Challenges 2025
For those ready to push their limits, Walk the Walk’s Camino Challenges in Portugal and Spain offer three extraordinary ways to test your endurance, explore incredible landscapes, and make every step count:
- Camino Portugués: A one-of-a-kind multi-discipline challenge combining 108 miles of cycling and 63 miles of walking through Portugal and Spain.
- Camino 100: Perfect for first timers yet demanding enough for seasoned walkers, this challenge takes place in Spain and covers 100 miles in five days - double the typical Camino distance.
- Journey to the Edge of the World: An ultra-challenge for the bold, this 75 mile walk through Spain over just three days ends at Finisterre, the legendary “End of the Earth,” combining rugged terrain with breathtaking coastal views.
