MoonWalk London 2016

May 14th 2016 |
Location: Clapham Common

Registration opening: Entries now closed

Thank you! Thank you!

Thank you to all of you volunteered at this years MoonWalk London. We really couldn't do it without you!

Over 3,000 amazing volunteers form the backbone of the Walk the Walk Team, providing support, encouragement and (most importantly) hugs to the walkers during our iconic MoonWalk challenges. Whether you are new to us, an ex-walker or a seasoned member we would love you to join our incredible family!

At the moment we are especially on the look out for those who can help us on Shift 2.  You will get the chance to really help us with route marshals, finish line and the bagagge area. So when you are filling out your registration form we would be grateful if you could select that

The evening is split into three shifts, with a variety of roles to suit everyone.

Shift 2

A flexible shift, normally from around midnight on Saturday to 6am on Sunday. This is the perfect shift if you want to cheer on a friend or family member and be back on site to see them across the Finish Line. Many volunteers opt for Shift 1 & Shift 2 together to coincide with the first trains and buses homeFind out more

Shift 3

Usually from around 6am through to midday. Get involved cheering on the final walkers on the route or keeping the party atmosphere alive at MoonWalk City! Find out more

Don't take our word for it

"A huge thank you to all the volunteers who simply did an outstanding job at keeping us safe crossing roads and cheering us all along !! I want to give a special thank you to the Wonderful Lady who stood at Mile 5 I believe just getting onto the South bank after passing Waterloo Bridge . Her enthusiasm was overwhelming and she was the cheerleader of the night ! Amazing support from all volunteers"
