Christmas is coming... A Knitting Fundraiser!

One of our fabulous fundraisers and Walk the Walker, Pat Knight, has been knitting these great little drummer boys and snowmen – absolutely adorable!

Pat says, “I started knitting to raise sponsorship money in 2017 as I needed to find a new way to raise money… rather than just ask for direct sponsorship. The whole concept took off - this is the sixth year of knitting the shelf sitters and, with the help of my sister, we have knitted over 250 of them!! We have raised nearly £4,000 with the shelf sitters alone. In addition, there have been many other knits that add every year to my fundraising. It’s a good job I love knitting as much as I love walking!”
