Walk the Walk in the Emerald Isle October 2021!

We’re heading to the home of the leprechauns and chasing the 4 leaf clover for the Dublin Marathon! Help us turn the Irish heartland pink this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as we bring out the bras and Power Walk in the Irish capital. It’s an irresistible challenge, and we are back for the fifth time in 2021!

Join us for a fantastic weekend in the Irish Capital, famous for its beautiful surroundings, its rich cultural history, the folk music, its shopping and perhaps most of all... for the wonderful Irish spirit and hospitality!

All about The Dublin Marathon

How far is it?

The total distance is 26.2 miles.

 

Is this Marathon for you?

You will need to aim for a Walking speed of 14 - 15 minute miles to complete the Marathon within 6 - 6.5 hours, for the very best Marathon experience! The maximum finishing time is 7 hours. With the training, commitment and lots of tips from the Team at Walk the Walk, this is certainly achievable.

 

Hotel and Travel

The Team will be staying at the 4* Hilton Charlemont Hotel, which is approximately 15 minute walk to the start line. 

 

Getting There

Book your own flights from your local airport to Dublin City Airport. We ask, all Walkers to arrive at the hotel by 14.00, where our Walk the Walk Team will be on hand to welcome you! At 15.00 we will have our Welcome Briefing and yummy traditional Irish Afternoon Tea!

What are the 2021 challenge costs?

The cost listed below is based on the 2020 Challenge - 2021 Tour costs will be confirmed shortly. 

There are a couple of options available depending on whether you are in a single or twin room. Read more

 

What is included in the tour costs

A lot! 3 nights accommodation, breakfast, Irish afternoon tea, 3 course Pasta party the night before the Marathon, tailored and unique support, along with a pack bursting full of kit to help you on your way. Read more

There are 3 ways that you can pay for this fabulous Challenge: in full when registering, pay the deposit followed by 2 instalments, or monthly instalments. Read more
