Enter the MoonWalk London, iconic, original, and fun night-time Walk organised by breast cancer charity Walk the Walk NOW! Is there a Route Map? A route map can be found here

Travel to the MoonWalk We do not recommend driving to the event due to limited parking in the area, however there is a drop off and pick up point on Rookery Road next to the Moonwalk Arena. The closest underground station is Clapham Common and the nearest station is Clapham High Street about a 10-15 minute walk, you can change at Clapham Junction. There are also buses that you can get from Clapham Junction.

Arrival times The Event Gates will open at 8.00pm (20.00) to give those wanting to buy food from our Food Village, a chance to get in a little earlier. Please note: You don’t need to register, but please have your Walker Number ready.

  • Pink and Blue Walker Numbers please arrive between 8.30pm (20.30) – 9.15pm (21.15)
  • Yellow and Purple Walker Numbers to arrive between 9.15pm (21.15) – 9.50pm (21.50)
  • Please be aware that if you are planning transport the Entrance Gate will close at 10.15pm (22.15)

Can I change challenge? – If you are registered for the Full and want to change to the Half, you can complete the Half Moon on the night but you would not be eligible for a medal as you didn’t complete the challenge you signed up for. Unfortunately, if you are registered for the Half you are unable to complete the Full and will be stopped on route.

I have lost / damaged my Walker number, what should I do? Please head to our Help Desk (next to the entrance) from 7.30pm-10.15pm with some photo ID and they will be able to help you.

I am in a different start to my team mates, what should I do? Walkers are unable to move forward starts due to health and safety however people are able to move back starts. So please check with your team mates and join the latest start in your team.

I have lost / or haven’t had – hat / t-shirt / space blanket / weather protector. Please head to our Help Desk (next to the entrance) from 7.30pm-10.15pm with some photo ID and they will be able to help you.

Should I bring my sponsorship money with me on the night? Thank you for your fundraising but please do not bring your sponsorship money with you, please add it to your online fundraising page or send in a cheque with your name on the back to 6 Genesis Business Park, Albert Drive, Woking, GU21 5RW

Lost property – items handed in on the night will be returned to our office on Monday and will take some time to go through but we will be in touch as soon as we can. If you can email us and give as much detail as to what the item looks like and where your may have lost it eg on route or on site someone will be in touch.

How do we enter a team? During your registration you will be given the option to create team, enter your team name and you will automatically become team leader.

Ways to enter your Team Members!

  • After entering the team name, you can then enter the email addresses of your team and they will receive an email inviting them to join. They will need to pay for their own places and complete their registration.
  • Let your team members know the team name, they can then head to our website and select the ‘Join Team’ option on the registration form
    Send team member a link to the team page and they can follow the Join Team button and register for the event linking to your team.
  • Can I enter for someone else?
  • Yes – you may make an online entry for each member of the team, provided that you have their permission to provide the required information (including their unique email address) and accept the terms and conditions on their behalf.

Can some of us enter to walk half and some full? Yes. Make sure you enter the equivalent finishing times (e.g. 5-6 hours for the full, 3-4 hours for the half) and join through the team link or by joining an existing team and we will do our best to keep you together.

I want to invite friends and family to join my team? Fantastic! You can share your team fundraising page link with friends and family and they can follow the Join Team button to register and be linked to your team.

Solo walkers: If you’re entering solo but decide later that you want to join or create a team, just drop us an email and we will be in touch.

Age restrictions: Walkers must be at least 13 years of age on the day of the MoonWalk.

When will we receive the Training Plan? The first 5 weeks can be found here and the 12 week plan will be included in your update emails.
