Walk the Walk is an official partner for the Step Count Challenge, organised by Paths for All, a charity which champions everyday walking in Scotland. We want to get Scotland walking! Paths for All wants to get Scotland walking! It’s the perfect partnership!
Paths for All’s Spring 2017 Step Count Challenge runs between 1st May and 25th June and entries are now open. The challenge is for workplaces across Scotland, with each workplace able to enter as many teams of five as they like!
Last year, over 4,000 people took part in the Spring Step Count Challenge, across 145 different offices or companies. Many offices entered several teams!
The idea? That your team of five takes as many steps as possible during the Step Count Challenge, counting steps with a pedometer or your favourite app or gadget. There’s a leaderboard, goals to motivate your team – and lots and lots of walking. And as this is a work-based challenge, the idea is that as much walking as possible takes place during the working day!
The MoonWalk Scotland take place towards the end of the challenge, on Saturday 10th June, so the timing is perfect. If you work in Scotland, the Step Count Challenge is a great way to give your MoonWalk training yet another focus and goal!
Sign up for The MoonWalk Scotland (if you haven’t done so already!) and sign up for Paths for All’s Step Count Challenge too. Do your bit to get Scotland walking!
