Christmas Hamper - Make up a Christmas themed hamper (ask people to donate items) and then raffle it off at work or at your fundraising event.
Gingerbread Baking - Are you the queen (or maybe the king) of the kitchen? Do you love spoiling the family with your delicious goodies? Time to put your baking skills to good use and see your fundraising pot grow!
Christmas Party - Invite your friends and family to your annual Christmas shenanigans and charge them for the meal and party you prepared for them. Maybe spice the evening up with some fundraising games too?
Marshmallows and Mulled wine - Have your children and their school friends round for a toasted marshmallow evening, invite the parents to come too, make some mulled wine and mince pies and ask for a donation for every glass they have!
Carol Singing - Do you enjoy singing? Get a few friends together and go around your neighbourhood with a Walk the Walk Collection Bucket with your Santa hat on! Spread the festive cheer and raise money in the process!
Christmas Lights - Do you like decorating the front of your house with lots of lights? Do you get random people visiting just to adore the decorations? Why not put a collection tub out by your gate and get some extra pennies for Walk the Walk?
Christmas Cards in the office - Want to save time and make a difference? Instead of writing out hundreds of cards for your workmates, buy one big card for the office and invite everyone to use it to send their Christmas wishes. Then they can donate the money they have saved from buying cards to Walk the Walk. A double winner!
Christmas Cards at home - Add stickers to your Christmas cards with a link to your online fundraising page.
Christmas Cards? Not this year! - Or don’t send cards at all; put half of the money you save on the cards and postage towards your fundraising. Let your friends know via an email that you are doing this and maybe send e-cards instead?
Christmas Decorations - Make a pinecone snowman, use a wineglass to make a winter themed candle holder or a felt Santa or Rudolph is where you can show your talent the best. Sell them at work, at a craft fair or advertise it on Facebook among your friends for donations to your fundraising page.
Christmas Fair - Set up a table, use the Walk the Walk bra pin badges and bracelets together with a collection tub, put your craft hat on and fill the table with your goodies.
Christmas Wrapping -Can’t get enough of those sparkly tags, ribbons and bows?! Why not offer to gift wrap for your friends, neighbours and colleagues in return for a donation?
Homemade Preserves Sale - Why not put your culinary skills to the test and create some homemade chutneys / jams to sell?
Christmas tree - Encourage your friends/ family/ customers/ colleagues to sponsor a bauble/ ribbon or any other decoration you can think of, to put on the Christmas tree!
Raise money, Raise awareness, Get fit and Have the best fun Walking the Walk!
