Grab the headlines and help boost your fundraising!

With the MoonWalk Scotland just round the corner, it's the perfect time to get in touch with your local press to tell them all about your fantastic challenge!

Getting publicity is not only a great way to encourage people to sponsor you, it also helps to raise awareness of breast cancer, and all our wonderful Walk the Walk events.

Just imagine a sea of pinkness and bras taking over newspaper front pages up and down the UK!

We have a press release template for you to download and fill in the gaps for The MoonWalk Scotland and The MoonWalk London... now your challenge is complete, why not share your experience!

Stories are much more likely to be published if you send them out with a photograph, so we recommend you proudly don your Walk the Walk t-shirt or decorated bra and cap, team it up with some black trousers, and strike a pose!

Why not ask someone to take your photo outside if you can, maybe just before you set off on a training walk! A clear, unobstructed background always look best.

We recommend sending your photo(s) as an attachment, rather than in the body of the email, and if you are taking them on a phone, always send the biggest size file possible (at least 1MB in size). We all love a filter, but we would avoid these for the photos you are sending to press! Photos pulled from Facebook, Snapchat, or Instagram are often poor quality so best to side-step these too! We are fussy, aren’t we!

It is brilliant that some of you have already been in touch with your local press and are helping to spread the word about the MoonWalks!
