A fantastic evening had by all – thank you Squire Patton Boggs and L.K. Bennett!

Just recently Nina and Karen spent a wonderful evening in the company of some very lovely fundraisers. The international law firm Squire Patton Boggs linked up with the designer fashion clothing store L.K. Bennett and together raised a fantastic £1,400 for Walk the Walk.

Squire Patton Boggs invited over 50 of their female clients to come along to L.K. Bennett’s flagship store at The Royal Exchange London and fuelled by Prosecco and canapés supplied by our lovely hosts, all our guests spent a wonderful evening Christmas shopping. L.K. Bennett gave the charity 10% of all sales made on the night and donated some gorgeous prizes to be won and Squire Patton Boggs opened the evening by making a very generous £500 donation, and of course everybody donated to grab a chance of winning a prize.

For Walk the Walk Worldwide it was a winning opportunity to raise awareness for breast cancer and recruit new and enthusiastic Walkers to The MoonWalk London 2015, who want to get fit and really make a difference. It was a really enjoyable few hours of women getting together and sharing whilst shopping!

The highlight of the event was Nina’s moving speech about how Walk the Walk and The MoonWalk began, and about her own personal journey that led her to embark on the road to creating the charity. What started as a one off idea is currently about to reach a momentous £100 million fundraising target!

If any of you lovely MoonWalkers and Volunteers are looking for an inspired and easy way to raise money and even engage your employers then perhaps this is something to think on, and what a fabulous idea to ‘treat’ staff, customers and clients.
