The MoonWalk London 2019, what a night!

We're remembering what a truly amazing night we had at the MoonWalk London as thousands of men and women came together to fight breast cancer!

With MoonWalk City now packed away for another year... we just wanted to say thank you to all you wonderful Walkers and our amazing Volunteers for making The MoonWalk London such an outstanding success and remember how awesome the night truly was!

The bra creations were a wonder to behold... it was fabulous to see so many MoonWalkers Stepping into the Groove and getting into the Disco Inferno spirit, as we all boogied on down to Clapham Common! The sheer excitement, enthusiasm, and emotion of seeing strangers and old friends coming together talking, hugging and uniting in a common cause, made this another incredible night to remember.

Thanks to the amazing efforts of our MoonWalkers, Nina announced on stage that fundraising hit over £2.8 million… and since then we have reached an incredible £3.4 million... woohoo! Find out where the money goes here!

It was so inspiring to have so many of our 13-year-old Walkers join Nina on stage, alongside Baroness Delyth Morgan, chief executive of Breast Cancer Now. Delyth highlighted the importance of research and the hope to make breast cancer a thing for the history books for this next generation… and not to mention a very special appearance from the Mayor of ‘MoonWalk London’ himself, Sadiq Khan… showing his support for Walk the Walk and all our beautiful MoonWalkers and Volunteers!

And speaking of our Volunteers... they never cease to amaze us! We at Walk the Walk truly couldn’t do it without them! They were fabulous... Smiling, hugging, cheering and keeping walkers heading towards the Finish Line. What wonderful teamwork.
