Donations for Dad

Who knows what to get their Dad on Father’s Day?  You can’t give socks every year so help your supporters out by offering home-made cards with a message saying that a donation has been made in their name to Walk the Walk. Teddy Bear’s Picnic and Games

If you go down to the woods today.... there’s lots of marvellous food to eat and wonderful games to play! Why should Teddy bears have all the fun! Invite families and friends to a local park, beauty spot or garden, and provide picnic goody hampers for donations! Organise traditional games to work off the calories with a treasure hunt, egg & spoon race, obstacle course and more!

Summer BBQ

Everybody loves a BBQ... and what could be easier than cooking up a storm and selling your chargrilled goodies to friends and neighbours. Simply flyer, email and facebook everyone with your menu, the date and time and charge them a donation to put in your fundraising pot! Or get a QR code linked to your fundraising page for card donations. Who wouldn’t love a barbie with no washing up? What a great opportunity for some FUNdraising in the great outdoors!

Host a Community Clean-Up Day!

What could be more public-spirited this Jubilee year than organising a clean-up of your village or town! Make it a fundraiser by making it a competition. Get supporters to sponsor teams of 4 to see who can collect the most rubbish!

Fresh Homemade Lemonade

Ask family, friends, neighbours and workmates for a donation in exchange for a refreshing glass of homemade lemonade on a hot day! If you have some help, you could offer delicious smoothies too... check out these yummy Walk the Walk recipes! 

Garden Watering

2022 is the year of the holiday getaway! Keep your neighbourhood beautiful by watering your neighbours’ gardens while they’re away. No-one wants to come home to dead plants when they’ve spent a lot of time, effort and money making their gardens bloom, so watch your kind offer bear lots of cash fruit!

Ice Cream Afternoon

You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream! What a great way to cool down on those hot summer days. Have an Ice Cream Sunday (geddit?)! Invite friends and neighbours round to yours and set up an Ice Cream Cocktail bar! Buy some fancy cones, glasses, and tubs of ice cream. Serve delicious concoctions and sundaes sprinkled with chopped nuts, pieces of fresh fruit, sprinkles, cream and whatever takes your fancy! Or, to add to the fun, have a Best Cocktail contest. Charge your guests a fiver a time to enter. And don’t forget a few home-made lollies to keep the children happy! What a way to raise money and keep cool!
