Walk the Walk is excited to be holding a Parliamentary drop-in event at Westminster on Wednesday 21st October, hosted by Woking MP Will Forster.

We would like as many MPs as possible to join us during this special event for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  It would be wonderful if you could please urge your own MP to attend. Read on for how you can help!

At the drop-in, we want to tell MP’s why we are campaigning for change and particularly why we believe the starting age for routine breast screening should be lowered from 50 to 40.

We will also be talking to MPs about the need for updated cancer prevention education in schools, as well as accelerating the promotion of walking for cancer prevention, treatment and recovery.

Please contact your local MP and encourage them to join Walk the Walk in Parliament on Wednesday 21st October!

To make it easy, we’ve created a ready-to-use email template, which you can copy, personalise and send in just a few minutes. You can use this alongside the WriteToThem service to quickly and directly reach your MP.

Uniting against cancer – together we can make a difference!
Thank you so much for your support.
