This is a key time in the fundraising calendar, momentum is everything, and every step, story, and donation continues to make a real difference for those affected by breast and other cancers.

Getting MoonWalk Ready

With training now well underway for our iconic MoonWalk on 16th May, it’s time to make sure you’re fully prepared – not just physically, but with your fundraising too. On the night, share your page and photos to encourage donations.

A strong fundraising page can have a huge impact, so if you haven’t already, now’s the moment to give it some attention:

  • Upload a photo – Let supporters see who they’re cheering for
  • Tell your story – Why are you taking part? What drives you?
  • Set your target – The minimum is £200, but many go far beyond
  • Share updates – Keep people engaged as you progress
  • Use the CharityGo app – Turn your phone into a quick and easy way to collect donations

Top Tip: Add your fundraising page QR code to your social media, posters, or even small cards – it’s one of the easiest ways to collect donations on the go.

Don’t Forget Gift Aid

If you’re collecting donations, don’t forget to encourage supporters to tick the Gift Aid box. It’s a simple step that makes a big difference, allowing us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated, at no extra cost to them. It’s one of the easiest ways to boost your fundraising total, so it’s always worth a reminder!

Share the Night

On the big weekend 16th – 17th May, we want to see it all!  From the start line excitement to those unforgettable finish-line moments,  share your photos, videos, and stories across social media and tag us so we can celebrate together.
