Day 1 – Thursday 30 October
Your New York City Marathon adventure begins… off to the airport and onto your Hotel. The Walk the Walk representative will arrange to meet in advance depending on your arrival time, and then it is over to you to start exploring the city that never sleeps!
All 3 of the Hotels are just a short walk away from the bright lights of Times Square and Broadway, so head out and see the delights that are on offer, there are restaurants and bars a plenty and if this is your first visit to New York, Times Square at night is not to be missed!
No meals will be included.
Day 2 – Friday 31 October
Today you will be heading off to the Expo at the Jacob Javits Convention Centre to get your Race Number and check out the New York Expo! Take it all in and enjoy! It is almost time!
The rest of the day is for you to explore what New York City has to offer… theater shows, shopping, plenty of restaurants and bars plus all the wonderful sites! Its a fabulous city to venture out in!
No meals will be included.
Day 3 – Saturday 1 November
An early start, but it’s great fun to join the team in the “Abbott Dash to the Finish Line 5k”. Starting at the United Nations Building, it is an opportunity to come together with thousands of other participants from across the world, as well as many New Yorkers. Experience the ceremony to start the Marathon, and then complete a 5K distance finishing at the Marathon Finish Line!
Once across the Finish Line the rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy! In the evening we will all come together again for our Tactics Talk followed by a 3-course Pasta Party meal!
Included: Dinner (Pasta Party) and Entry to the 5K Abbotts Dash to the Finish Line
Day 4 – Sunday 2 November 2025
The BIG DAY – This is it…. The TCS New York City Marathon … apprehension but above all excitement… Here’s to an amazing day!
The New York City Marathon is where it all started for Walk the Walk 29 years ago! New Yorkers call us “The bikini girls” some wait for us to appear and without question everyone loves and supports us, being cheered on by all the enthusiastic New Yorkers, across the 5 boroughs for 26.2 miles is not something you forget… trust us, you will enjoy every step!
Once across the Finish Line and being awarded your much-deserved medal, the rest of the evening very much depends on how you feel, either to relax at the Hotel or head out for a celebration meal the choice is yours… Enjoy the evening!
Included: Marathon race entry and transport to the start on Staten Island.
Day 5 – Monday 3 November 2025
After a much-needed rest, the team will meet for our Celebration Breakfast in possibly one of New York’s most iconic and unique Diner!
You may want to squeeze in a bit more shopping or take some time out for a massage, before heading back home to the UK.
