This is one of the 6 Marathon Majors, held in our Capital... this challenge takes you from Greenwich Park, through Tower Bridge, alongside the River Thames and finishes in the stunning Mall.

The sites of London, the support on the route will keep you walking that walk and smiling throughout the 26.2 miles of this iconic Marathon.

How far is it?

The total distance is 26.2 miles.

Is this Marathon for you?

The cut off time for this Marathon is 8 hours. With training and commitment this is certainly achievable and a largely flat course too. You should be aiming for 14-16 minute miles during your training to conquer the famous TCS London Marathon.

Fundraising... a marathon not a sprint!

My fundraising for the year stands at £2,880. I am delighted and amazed. All of this was achieved by aiming for lots of small fundraisers, this approach suited me best for the London and New York Marathons.
