TCS London Marathon FAQs
The cut off time for this Marathon is 7 hours. With training and commitment this is certainly achievable and a largely flat course too. You should be aiming for 14-16 minute miles during your training to conquer the famous TCS London Marathon; this is very achievable by following Walk the Walk’s tried and tested step-by-step Training Plan. A 12 week Marathon training plan will be provided to you.
Charity Place Registration Fee: FREE, but we ask you to fundraise a minimum of £2,600 for us.

Getting There: Book your own travel to and from London.
Charity Place: If you are successful in getting one of our Charity Places, we ask you to commit to raise a minimum of £2,600. As the fundraising target is significant, you will have a fundraising consultant dedicated to help and support you at every step of the way.
We have divided the fundraising into manageable milestones to help you:
- Personal fundraising consultation – August
- £500 – Monday 8 September 2025
- £500 – Monday 20 October 2025
- £500 – Monday 1 December 2025
- £500 – Monday 12 January 2026
- £300 – Monday 16 March 2026
- £300 – Monday 11 May 2026
- Final Fundraising – 31 May 2026

Thank you for your interest in taking part in the TCS London Marathon for Walk the Walk on Sunday 26 April 2026.
As we expect to have much interest in our limited TCS London Marathon charity places, we ask you to complete a short application form by Monday 30 June. Walk the Walk will let you know if you are successful by the end of July.
Not only is there a big commitment to Training for this Marathon, but also to Fundraising. As the Fundraising target is significant, if you are one of the lucky ones, you will have a Fundraising consultant assigned to you to help and support every step of the way, commencing with a Fundraising consultation.
We have also divided up the Fundraising target into manageable milestones as per below:

- £500 – Monday 20 October 2025
- £500 – Monday 1 December 2025
- £500 – Monday 12 January 2026
- £300 – Monday 16 March 2026
- £300 – Monday 11 May 2026
