    Hotel and Travel Information

This year the Team will be offering a package deal and accommodation through Center Parcs Het Heijderbos, situated in Heijen, which is approx. 30 - 40 minutes from the start of the Marches. The hotel lies within the beautiful Center Parcs complex, in close proximity to restaurants on site and a large both indoor and outdoor swimming pool! It is the perfect place to recoup your energy, take a swim, stretch out tired muscles and prepare yourself for the next day!

    Getting There...

We suggest that you book a flight to Amsterdam where you will be able to take a train to Nijmegen, from here you can either pick up a taxi to the hotel around 40 mins away or you may choose to change and hop on a train to Boxmeer from where you can grab a taxi to the hotel around 15 mins away.

The team will meet officially for the first time at the hotel on Monday midday! The exact time will be confirmed by the Events Team closer to the time...

    Eating & Drinking

Packed breakfast is included, from Tuesday 15 - Friday 18 July, to cover you for each day of your challenge. Although you may not feel like eating a big breakfast at the early hour that we will be getting up, it is really important to eat to ensure your energy levels are kept up!

For lunch and snacks, the Team will take a packed lunch made from Evergreenz, however out on the marches each day, there are stalls along the route, with farmers selling juicy watermelons and delicious nibbles to keep you going. Children and locals also hand out cucumber, cheese, biscuits, crisps, and liquorice sweets, which are a local delicacy, you won't go hungry! You can also get some chips once you have finished back at De Wedren.

A 3 course evening meal is included on Monday 14 July, followed by buffet evening meals at Evergreenz Restaurant on the challenge days from Tuesday 15 - Friday 18 July... plus for a 2-hour period drinks are also included!

All other meals, snacks and drinks you will need to cover yourself, so be sure to bring some euro's along for any souvenirs, sweets and anything else you may want to purchase along the way.

    Massage

We organise a team of professional masseuses at the Hotel each evening after the Marches (additional cost). We highly recommend you take up these massages; they are extremely valuable... you may hobble into seeing them; however, you will come out dancing! They really do work wonders!
