Later that night, as the bra was getting fixed to my running top, I came to the idea that running in a T-shirt was not acceptable. I had no choice but to run in just a bra if I wanted to get the message across with maximum impact.

The sun just kept shining and mile by mile we tried to take it all in and absorb it. We felt so proud to be walking for Walk the Walk. The sights and sounds of that day will be with us forever it really was an unbelievable day.

All I could hear was my name being called and loads of encouragement as I passed runner after runner. Apparently a little way behind me the crowds were yelling “Go on Tracey – Lucy just a little way in front of you!”. Thousands of people watching me and shouting my name and clapping as I rounded the corners in front of Buckingham Palace with just me in the middle of the vast road.
