Failure to meet these deadlines may result in your place being cancelled. Please refer to your Terms and Conditions of entry.

  2. Making a difference and fundraising tips

The money you raise can make a real difference to the lives of people with breast cancer.

£500 pays for two support group days specifically for those with secondary cancers.

£1,000 helps to create treatments with fewer side effects and could supply the essential equipment required for identifying specific proteins in a cell that drive the growth of breast cancer. This will aid new and more targeted treatments to be developed with less devastating side effects for patients.

Here are a few ways to help you reach that magic figure!

    • Share your online page with friends and family. Make the most of it by following our handy hints
    • Exchange your time for donations e.g. walking your neighbour’s dog, washing cars.
    • Make something that you can sell, or sell your once loved things at a car boot sale or on Ebay.
    • Give something up for sponsorship! Go without your favourite treats for a month. Chocolate, alcohol, cake? Can you manage it?
    • Check out our ten top tips here!
    • And finally… who doesn’t love cake? Have a bake sale at work or school!

  3. Can I give any of my sponsor money to another charity?

Because everybody taking part in Walk the Walk challenges is united in a single aim, all your fundraising must be sent to Walk the Walk.

By not sending all your fundraising money to Walk the Walk, you may be committing an offence.

  4. Can I use any of my fundraising to pay for my travel expenses to the event?

NO. That is not permissible and is an offence.

  5. Are you a Multi Challenger?

Thank you for joining us on more than one challenge, please be aware that any money you raise over and above the minimum requirement for this challenge cannot be transferred to another year.
