  1. What is the minimum fundraising?

We ask you to aim to raise a minimum of £100 per person and for our younger walkers (aged 10 to 12) to raise as much as they possibly can!

  2. How much is it to enter

Young Walkers aged 10 to 12 £15.00 (plus online booking fee)

Walkers aged 13 and over £32.50 (plus online booking fee)

  3. What is the New Moon Challenge?

If you have always wondered what all this MoonWalk fuss was about but didn’t quite want to commit to a Half or Full Marathon, you will now be able to join the fun by walking just 6.55 miles, so no excuses for not doing your bit

The New Moon Challenge is an exciting addition for The MoonWalk in Scotland, it’s the perfect challenge for those that can’t or don’t want to walk a longer distance, for work places to join as a team and for younger walkers to get a crack at the action... so you see everybody can do a marathon one way or another... after all this is where it is all happening!

Every MoonWalk challenge will follow the same route, so everybody can enjoy the unbelievable atmosphere and camaraderie.

The best bit is that you can be a part of this amazing night... get a little bit fitter and raise money that will help cancer patients throughout Scotland... now that is hard to beat....!

  4. What is the minimum age?

All younger walkers need to be 10 years or more on the challenge day. Please note this is in contrast to those taking part in the Half or Full Marathon where the minimum age is 13.

  5. Entering 10-17 year olds

Some points to be aware of:

An adult guardian (aged at least 18) must accompany any entrant aged between 10 and 17 years old for the duration of the challenge.

The guardian of the adolescent must enter into the challenge prior to the adolescent entering and for the same distance.

For schools or groups including entrants:

    a) under the age of 13 there must be a minimum ratio of 1 adult to 3 young people; and
    b) aged between 13 and 17 there must be a minimum of 1 adult to 5 adolescents.

You can use your own credit card if you are entering a 10-17 year old, i.e. it does not have to be in their name.
