  1. What are the 2021 costs?

    Tour Package

    The Team will be staying at Hotel Sel whilst in Lake Myvatn moving to Hotel Cabin in Reykjavik.  You have a choice of staying in a single, twin, triple and quad (limited rooms available).

    Deposit at Registration is £330 plus remaining balance listed below:

    Please Note: The cost of your package has been calculated in August 2020. Due to possible fluctuations in the exchange rate please be aware that should this increase above 3% we will have to pass on this cost to you. This is out of our control and something we will try to avoid.

  2. How can I pay?

    There are 3 ways that you can pay for this incredible MoonWalk:

    • Pay in full 
    • Pay the deposit of £330 followed by 2 instalments
      • Monday 12th October 2020
      • Monday 22nd March 2021

  3. Included?

     International flights (Full Package only)

     Domestic flights

     Airport transfers return 

     4 nights en suite in a Lakeside hotel in Northern Iceland 

     1 night in central Reykjavik city centre with en-suite 

     All breakfasts

     4 Evening meals

     3 Lunch meals

     Afternoon Tea

     All excursions as part of the itinerary including transport and guides.

     Race Entry to The MoonWalk Iceland.

     Bra - for you to decorate, this is what we are famous for!

     3 x MoonWalk Iceland T-shirts, 1 x long and 2 x short sleeved

     High visibility Beanie hat.

     MoonWalk Iceland cap.

     MoonWalk Iceland Midge hat.

     London pre-challenge Training Walk (minimum numbers required)

     Weather protector.

     Space blanket.

     All race facilities such as medal, water, entertainment etc. 

    This also includes protection by trade description legislation, contract laws and package holidays regulations.

  4. Not included

    • Travel Insurance 
    • Lunch and dinner on Day 5 (Reykjavik), lunch on Day 6 (Blue Lagoon) 
    • Personal spending money for drinks, optional additional tours (Day 5), souvenirs and tips
    • Overseas postage for non UK residents: £20.00

  5. Flights

    All group flights depart and arrive from London Heathrow. 

    Included in the Full Tour Package are four flights per person plus all taxes; London Heathrow to Keflavik, then Reykjavik City, to Akureyri/Husavik return.

    We are unable to accept Race Entries only.

    There are a limited number of Non Flight/Ground-only (no international flights) are available. If you are interested, please contact us to discuss your potential arrangements and the times to meet the group before booking. These are reserved for international Walkers first and foremost. 

  6. Money Back!

    At Walk the Walk if you raise £1,750 or more, to thank you for supporting us and exceeding your minimum Fundraising, we will refund some of your Tour costs...

    Minimum fundraising £650

    Raise over £1,750 and WTW will refund £580

    Raise over £2,500 and WTW will refund £830

    Raise over £3,250 and WTW will refund £990

    Raise over £3,750 and WTW will refund £1,250

    Raise over £4,250 and WTW will refund £1,410

    If you would like to take this opportunity and receive a refund of more than £1,000 this means that you will be classed as a Professional Fundraiser under the Charities Act 1992, Section 60. This only applies to you if you intend to raise £3750 or more and intend to accept the refund, if so then you are required to complete a separate document within 14 days of applying/registering; this is in accordance with the Charity Commission and Charities Act 1992.
