    Information below is based on the 2019 challenge, to be used as a guide only and subject to change. 

    Inca trail Tour 2019

    Total challenge cost:

    Twin Room sharing: £3,050

    Single Room: £3,450 in hotel accommodation only (all tents are two people sharing) 

    Challenge Deposit: £400 

    Please note: If you are an individual traveller looking to share, we will try to pair you with another Walker. In the event that is this is not possible you may be required to pay a single supplement. 

    Inca Trail Tour plus the Amazon Extension 2019 - Please note this is on a request base only.

    Total challenge cost:

    Twin Room: £4,075

    Single Room: £4,685 in hotel accommodation only (all tents are two people sharing) 

    Challenge Deposit: £400

    Please Note: The cost of your package has been calculated at the time of the event launch in August 2018. Due to the possible fluctuations in the financial market, for the forthcoming year (2019) and the value of the GBP against the US Dollar, please be aware that should the exchange rate fluctuate above 3% on the cost of the challenge, the charity will, unfortunately, be forced to pass on any increase in costs (or reduce your costs for any decrease if applicable). The final price will be confirmed to you prior to the Final Balance being due, any costs below 3% will be covered by Walk the Walk in Action and will not be passed on. The fluctuations of currency are out of our control, we will keep you informed of any changes.

    • All accommodation on the Challenge

    Other things you may wish to consider...

    Essential Kit - a full list of clothing and equipment will be provided to all participants. However, the following items will be required: a day backpack suitable for trekking, hiking boots, socks and four seasons sleeping bag. 

  4. Walk the Walk Fundraising Offer...

    The Walk the Walk fundraising offer allows the Charity to raise much needed funds and for many people the opportunity to experience this Challenge. 

    The minimum amount of fundraising for this Challenge is £700.

    What happens if you can raise more... 

    Raise over £1,550 and WTW will refund £500 to you

    Raise over £2,050 and WTW will refund £750

    If you would like to take this opportunity and receive a refund of more than £1,000 this means that you will be classed as a Professional Fundraiser under the Charities Act 1992, Section 60. This only applies to you if you intend to raise £3300 or more and intend to accept the refund, if so then you are required to complete a separate document within 14 days of applying/registering; this is in accordance with the Charity Commission and Charities Act 199

    Raise £3,300 and WTW will refund £1,250
    Raise £3,800 and WTW will refund £1,500
    Raise £4,550 and WTW will refund £1,750
    Raise £5,550 and WTW will refund £2,250

    The maximum amount that can be refunded to any Walker is £2,250, which excludes the Deposit, Walker Pack or any personal spending. 

  5. How do I pay?

    There are 3 ways to pay:

    1. Pay in full when registering

    2. Pay the deposit followed by 2 instalments:

    • 1st October 2018
    • 4th February 2019
