  1. The 2019 Great North Run costs?

    There are two ways you can enter the Great North Run and join our Walk the Walk 2019 Team:

    Charity Place

    Apply for one of our limited Charity Places and join us on the Great North Run with our fabulous Team!

    Great North Run Race Entry Fee: £80
    Walk the Walk Walker Pack Fee: £32
    Total Fee £112

    Ballot Place

    If you are one of the lucky ones who secured a Ballot Place through the Great North Run, you can still join our Team - simply select 'have Ballot Place' on the registration form.
    Walker Pack Fee: £32
    Total Fee £32

  2. How can I pay?

    Payment is made online only and is payable by debit or credit card only.

  3. What does the cost include?

    Here at Walk the Walk, we support you every step of the way. From the very start of your registration to wishing you good luck on you Challenge Day, you will receive technique tips, nutritional guidance, training support and kit information. You will also have our Fundraising Team providing support, ideas and tips to reach and exceed your fundraising target. 

    Race Entry is included in the Charity Place cost. 

    Included in the Walker Packs for both Charity and Ballot Places are: 

    Welcome Walker Pack includes:

    • Training and Safety Guide
    • Half Marathon Training Plan 
    • Sponsor Form
    • High-vis Beanie

    Final Event Pack includes:

    • A bespoke Great North Run 2019 Cap
    • 1 x Short-sleeved 2019 bra T-shirt 
    • Bra to decorate 
    • Space Blanket
    • Weather Protector
    • Plus lots of other Walk the Walk goodies

    As well as all race facilities, such as medal, water etc, provided by the event organisers for all participants.

    Additional Costs:

    • Travel to and from Newcastle
    • Any accommodation required
