To take part in the Over The Moon Ultra challenge, you will need to pay an entry fee of £75 plus the online booking fee of £5.25.
This is a tough challenge and you will have to be a minimum of 18 years of age on the event night.
This is an ultra-marathon distance within a challenging time frame and not for the faint-hearted. The time limit is 14 hours from the Opening Start of The MoonWalk Scotland. The Finish Line will close at approximately 1.30pm on Sunday 11th June depending on the start time approved on the night. Please be aware, we are only permitted to use the Start Line when the relevant authorities give us permission to leave, so times can change on the night. All our ‘Over The Mooner’s’ will be required to Check In before the start, you will then be given a designated spot to meet just before the start, from here you will be guided down to the Start Line.
All Challengers must meet at the designated point that will be advised closer to the event. Keep an eye out for others in the black and white striped hats. You will then be escorted as a group to the very front of the first start group so that you can all get off as quickly as possible to complete your challenge.
You can choose to go into other starts with friends or family, however we do not advise this as you will be losing precious time waiting for other starts to leave. The 14 hour cut off time is calculated from the Opening Start time.
Not only will you get one, but two! On completing the first marathon of 26.2 miles, you will receive a Full MoonWalk Medal. You will then receive a very special ‘Over The Moon Medal' for reaching your goal of 52.4 miles within 14 hours from the Opening Start.
If however, you are unable to complete the challenge in the time allocated but have managed to walk more than 26.2 miles, you will only receive the Full Moon Medal.
The Finish Line will close 14 hours after the official Opening MoonWalk Start, which includes the ‘Over The Moon Ultra’ challengers. For any Walkers that do not complete the distance within this time, you will receive the Full Moon Medal, but we will be unable to award you an ‘Over The Moon Medal’. However, we will award you a certificate to recognise your achievement after the challenge has taken place.

YES! Men can Walk the Walk too but they don't get away with not wearing a bra as The MoonWalk and the Over The Moon Ultra challenge is all about raising awareness and wearing a decorated bra is the Walk the Walk trademark and one of the reasons we manage to raise so much awareness and money for our vital causes!
