  1. What are the 2019 challenge costs?

    Information below is based on the 2018 challenge, to be used as a guide only and subject to change.

    The Team will be staying at the stunning 5* Conrad Hotel, in the centre of all that Dublin has to offer; the location is perfect!

    The basic Tour is 3 nights from Friday 26 - Monday 29 October 2018, however, if you wish to extend your stay and explore some more then this is possible! 

    Please note, all participants must book their own flights.

    Walkers Full Package:

    Deposit  

    Challenge deposit: £150

    Walker Pack Fee: £65

    Race Entry: £65

    Total (non-refundable) Deposit- £280

    Supporters

    Your friends and family are welcome to join the Team and support us over the 26.2 miles, plus enjoy all the delights that are included in this Dublin weekend. Please be aware, as a Charity and first and foremost our places must go to Walker who are fundraising for us. Please get in touch with the Unique Challenges Team and they will be happy to help. 

    Please note: The cost of your package has been calculated at the time of the event launch in December 2018. Due to the possible fluctuations in the financial market, for the forthcoming year (2019) and the value of the GBP against the Euro, please be aware that should the exchange rate fluctuate above 3% on the cost of the challenge, the charity will, unfortunately, be forced to pass on any increase in costs (or reduce your costs for any decrease if applicable). The final price will be confirmed to you prior to the Final Balance being due, any costs below 3% will be covered by Walk the Walk in Action and will not be passed on. The charity will aim to avoid any additional costs, however, the fluctuations of currency are out of our control and therefore an increase in price may be applied.  

  2. How can I pay?

    There are 3 ways to pay:

    1. Pay in full when registering

    2. Pay the deposit followed by 2 instalments:

  4. Are there any additional costs?

    Information below is based on the 2018 challenge, to be used as a guide only and subject to change.

    • Flights - you make your own way to Dublin Airport.
    • Transfers from Dublin Airport to the hotel.
    • Payment by credit card on online entry form: all figures subject to a 2% fee.
    • Overseas postage and packaging.
    • Any additional activities
    • Insurance policy.
    • Additional WTW long-sleeved T-shirts: £17.50 + P&P.

  5. Walk for Free!

    Information below is based on the 2018 challenge, to be used as a guide only and subject to change.

    At Walk the Walk if you excel in your fundraising, to thank you for supporting us, we can refund your Tour Costs for the Dublin Marathon! If you intend to raise £1200 or more (dependent on Tour Package choice), then you will be eligible for a potential refund of some of your Tour Costs - please get in touch with the Unique Challenges Team for more details!

    Minimum amount to be raised £500

    Full Package Tour 

    Raise £1,200 and we will refund £498 *

     In order to qualify for a refund, Walk the Walk must receive the fundraising before Monday 21 January 2019.

    * Based on a 3 night twin share option

    If you excel in your fundraising and are staying in a different room option or extra night then your refund fundraising amount and potential refund will be different - please get in touch with us
