  1. What are the 2019 Challenge Costs?

    Places on this Challenge are very limited... so if you are interested, please email the Unique challenges team. 

    The Team will be staying on the shores of Lake Disney in the wonderful mountain lodge style hotel, Sequoia Lodge, just a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Disneyland. The Standard Package is for 3 nights twin share from Friday 20th September 2019 to Monday 23rd September 2019. If you would like to start your adventure earlier you can add an extra night on Thursday.

    The Standard Package includes:

    • Accommodation in twin room with breakfast 
    • Race Entry to 10k and Half marathon 
    • 2-day Disney park ticket (to be used on any 2 days you choose)
    • Walker pack

    The accommodation is twin bedded rooms, however, the rooms have 2 big queen size beds, so could accommodate 3 or 4 people: this means that one or both beds would have to be shared.

    Deposit: £277.00 (payable on booking, non refundable)

    Outstanding balance: depending on extra add-ons chosen.

    Please note: The cost of your package will be calculated at the time of launch, costs and dates above are for 2019. Due to the possible fluctuations in the financial market for the forthcoming year and the value of the GBP against the Euro, please be aware that should the exchange rate fluctuate above 3% on the cost of the challenge, the charity will, unfortunately, be forced to pass on any increase in costs (or reduction in your costs). The final price will be confirmed to you prior to the Final Balance being due. The charity will aim to avoid any additional costs, however, the fluctuations of currency are out of our control.

  3. How can I pay?

    There are 2 ways to pay for this magical challenge:

    1. Pay the deposit, followed by 2 Instalments:
    Wednesday 20 March 2019
    Wednesday 24 April 2019

    2. Pay the deposit, followed by 1 Instalment (i.e. balance in full):
    Wednesday 20 March 2019

  4. Can I have race only entry?

    No, sorry, it is not possible to gain race entry for the Disneyland Paris Challenge through Walk the Walk without travel and accommodation.

  5. Are there any additional costs?

  6. Walk for Free!

    At Walk the Walk, if you raise £1,100 or more, to thank you for supporting us, we will refund you as per the below breakdown.

    Minimum amount to be raised £500

    Raise £1,100 and Walk the Walk will refund £325
    Raise £1,250 and Walk the Walk will refund £425
    Raise £1,550 and Walk the Walk will refund £518**

    Only for walkers registering after 11 March 2019

    Raise £1,850 and Walk the Walk will refund £618** 

    ** Please note** The maximum amount that can be refunded to any person is the total paid for your basic 3 night stay in a twin room. This does not include the Walker Pack Fee, Deposits, Race Entries, insurance, medical certificate or personal spending.

    In order to qualify for a refund, Walk the Walk must receive the fundraising before Monday 9 December 2019.

  7. Insurance

    It is compulsory that all Walkers have Insurance which supports this challenge. Please make sure that you are covered for the challenge itself plus standard cover for travel, baggage etc. 

    We can recommend Global Travel Insurance. They can provide you with a personal quote that specifically covers your chosen activity, including cancellation due to sports injury.

    Confirmation and details of your insurance will be requested by Walk the Walk prior to the Challenge.

  8. Medical Certificates

    To take part in the challenges at Disneyland Paris, there is a statutory requirement to provide a Medical Certificate issued and signed by your Doctor.
