  1. What are the 2020 Challenge Costs?

    The Team will be staying on the shores of Lake Disney in the wonderful mountain lodge style hotel, Sequoia Lodge, just a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Disneyland. The Standard Package is for 3 nights twin share from Friday 25th September 2020 to Monday 28th September 2020. 

    For 2020 we have 3 packages to choose from:

    *Please note that lunch and drinks are not included - please see here for package details. 

    *Eurostar Travel*: Please note that the cost of travel has been estimated (as booking systems are not yet open for 2020). Consequently, the cost of the Mickey and Goofy packages might be slightly lower or higher. We will publish updated costs as soon as they are available.

    Deposit: £277.00 (payable on booking, non refundable)

    Outstanding balance: depending on package chosen.

    Please note: The cost of your package will be calculated at the time of launch in 2019. Due to the possible fluctuations in the financial market for the forthcoming year and the value of the GBP against the Euro, please be aware that should the exchange rate fluctuate above 3% on the cost of the challenge, the charity will, unfortunately, be forced to pass on any increase in costs (or reduction in your costs). The final price will be confirmed to you prior to the Final Balance being due. The charity will aim to avoid any additional costs, however, the fluctuations of currency are out of our control.

  3. How can I pay?

    There are 3 ways to pay for this magical challenge:

    1. Pay the deposit, followed by 2 Instalments:
    Monday 27th January 2020
    Monday 23rd March 2020

    2. Pay the deposit, followed by 1 Instalment (i.e. balance in full):
    Monday 23rd March 2020

    3. Pay the deposit, followed by monthly instalments, see the £asyPay schedules below for more details.

  4. Can I have race only entry?

    No, sorry, it is not possible to gain race entry for the Disneyland Paris Challenge through Walk the Walk without travel and accommodation.

  5. Are there any additional costs?

    • Any additional WTW short-sleeved T-shirts ordered: £15.00
    • Overseas postage and packaging
    • Travel to Disney / Meal Plan, if not choosing the Mickey mix package

     

  6. Walk for Free!

    At Walk the Walk, if you raise £1,100 or more, to thank you for supporting us, we will refund you as per the below breakdown.

    Minimum amount to be raised £600

    Raise £1,100 and Walk the Walk will refund £315
    Raise £1,250 and Walk the Walk will refund £415
    Raise £1,550 and Walk the Walk will refund £515**
    Raise £1,850 and Walk the Walk will refund £615**
    Raise £2,150 and Walk the Walk will refund £715

    **Please note** The maximum amount that can be refunded to any person is the total paid for your basic 3 night stay in a twin room. This does not include the Walker Pack Fee, Deposits, Race Entries, insurance, medical certificate or personal spending.

    In order to qualify for a refund, Walk the Walk must receive the fundraising before Monday 7 December 2020.

  7. Insurance

    It is compulsory that all Walkers have Insurance which supports this challenge. Please make sure that you are covered for the challenge itself plus standard cover for travel, baggage etc. 

    We can recommend Global Travel Insurance. They can provide you with a personal quote that specifically covers your chosen activity, including cancellation due to sports injury.

    Confirmation and details of your insurance will be requested by Walk the Walk prior to the Challenge.

  8. Medical Certificates

    To take part in the challenges at Disneyland Paris, there is a statutory requirement to provide a Medical Certificate issued and signed by your Doctor.
