Volunteer Walking Competition!
Lace up your walking boots, trainers, or any outdoor shoes you have and join our Volunteer Walking Competition in support of our Walkers! Starting on Tuesday 1st April, walk two miles every day for 30 days, until Wednesday 30th April. Share your proof of walking to enter our Volunteers exclusive prize draw to be in with a chance of winning some very special Walk the Walk goodies.
Walking is great for a variety of reasons. Not only will you be boosting your own physical health and wellbeing, it is great for your mental health too… lowering stress hormones, releasing endorphins, improving your mood and focus!
Many of us spend large portions of the day in front of screens which can contribute to eye strain, headaches and mental fatigue. So why not take a walking break? Allow your brain to rest and recharge 😊 ahead of the MoonWalk weekend? Two miles every day for the month of April is all you need to do. Alongside your proof, why not send some pics or videos of you in action? We’d absolutely love to see you out there!
Need some walking tips? Then look no further. Check out some great recommendations from our very own walking expert, CEO and Founder Nina!
“The sum of the whole is this: walk and be happy; walk and be healthy. The best way to lengthen out our days is to walk steadily and with a purpose.” – Charles Dickens

Help us spread the Volunteering word!
Your time, encouragement and dedication really will make a huge difference to us and our Walkers as they complete their epic overnight MoonWalk challenge. But why not go that extra mile for Walk The Walk? Can you help us to reach even more passionate individuals who want to support those affected by breast and other cancers?
Join us and help to spread the word about our Volunteering opportunities through your own network.
Need some inspo? Check out how below:
- Download our Volunteering posters here and pop them up at your favourite café, local community or sports centre. Print a few and take them to place anywhere you can think of throughout your home town. Got family and friends elsewhere? Why not drop them an email, attach the poster and ask them to do the same.
- No access to a printer… don’t worry! Simply email the Volunteers Team who will send some posters and flyers in the post to you (and of course to those you’ve persuaded to help above!) Just tell us how many and consider it done.
- Perhaps you could you post a link to our Volunteer Recruitment Page on your personal social media channels? Why not share our event flyer in your local Facebook or WhatsApp groups? Have a think about the communities you are a part of – both on and offline – they could prove invaluable.
- Word of mouth really does help so keep telling your friends, family and colleagues about Volunteering with Walk The Walk. Share your personal experience and inspire others to get involved. If new Volunteers add your name to their Registration Form, we promise to keep you together.
Your efforts really will make a huge difference in helping us to bring more fantastic Volunteers in to the MoonWalk family so Thank You for your continued support.
Any questions, you know how and where to find us.
Love Volunteering, Love Life!
