Edinburgh goes pink for MoonWalk Scotland!!!

We know that when you are pounding the pavements at Midnight on Saturday you might need that extra bit of motivation to keep those smiles on your faces!

We know that when you are pounding the pavements at Midnight on Saturday you might need that extra bit of motivation to keep those smiles on your faces!

Yet again, Scotland’s beautiful capital City will be lighting up pink in 2014 and supporting you on your way round. Keep an eye out on the night and get those cameras at the ready!

Lothian Buses have The MoonWalk Scotland Bus … it is bright pink, and quite difficult to miss! It has been travelling around the City all year, so you may have already been on it! Check out how to get to and from the MoonWalk City here

Then, as you come into Inverleith Park, thanks to The Royal Botanic Garden, we have a pink tree! (And a HUGE thanks to Mandors, who have very generously donated the material.)

Edinburgh Castle is turning pink along with Jenners, Lloyds on the Mound, Harvey Nichols, The Balmoral, Camera Obscura, Debenhams, Royal Bank of Scotland( Head Office), The Royal Yacht Britannia , The Scottish Courts Parliament House, as well as Queen Victoria at The National Galleries!

The Caledonian Waldorf Astoria are also showing their support – make sure you look up and you will see the pink flags!

……….. and the Breast Cancer Institute, at The Western are putting up their banner thanking you all, and wishing you luck.

Whilst you are enjoying the sites; dotting around Edinburgh will be City Cabs …. watch out for the tartan taxi, it’ll be closer than you think…no you are not allowed to get in!

Just when you think it is all over … you will cross that Finish Line and Scotland on Sunday will be there with their special MoonWalkers edition! – Don’t forget to bring change (£1.00) to see your name in print!

P.S. Do you know someone walking in Edinburgh on Saturday night? Why not be there to support them as a route marshal. Tell us which challenge they are on and we will get you back to site before they cross the finish line. Join our amazing team here
