Well this is it… across the UK Walkers are gathering their kit, putting the final decoration on their bras and getting ready to MoonWalk! Following yesterday's update, I just wanted to give you a few final bits of information.

Well this is it… across the UK Walkers are gathering their kit, putting the final decoration on their bras and getting ready to MoonWalk! Following yesterday's update, I just wanted to give you a few final bits of information.

The weather

Well now, it looks like there is only going to be one cool night this week….and its Saturday would you believe! Currently it is looking like a sunny day on Saturday with some cloud and a high of 14°C – Saturday night will be a low of 7°C possibly feeling cooler due to a light wind. Sunday morning will be sunny and rise to a high of 16°C

You might want to bear in mind the following tip. Don't forget to bring you weather protector Poncho. They are amazing bits of kit and if you do begin to feel cool they can really warm you up. Wear them over the top of your fabulously decorated bra and then keep them in place using your bumbag.  Read more about this here. If you have already used it, or you do forget it, we will have a limited stock to buy for a £2.00 donation.

Also bring a long sleeved sweat shirt to tie around your waist so you have something to put on if you need it. Don't forget to bring some warm clothes to put on at the end as no matter what the weather, tiredness will tend to make you feel cold anyway.

Please do bring sunscreen as even though it may not feel intense the sun at this time of year, and particularly in the morning can still burn.

Keeping track...GPS

Just in case you didn't know and to remind those that do... all you Full Mooner's have signed up for 26.2 miles and Half Mooners, 13.1 plus 2 glorious miles. These distances have been measured accurately using the latest mechanical odometer. So… a note to all you GPS and app users... ahead of the challenge we just want to say that inaccuracies over these distances are really common. Especially in built up places like central London! We have seen many variances, for example, lots of 'zig-zagging' paths, and some showing people walking on water through the Thames... I promise you the route does not ask you to walk on water!! Trust us, unless we have to make any last minute route changes, this distance is accurate... you heard it here first!

Amazing fundraising!

You are doing amazingly well, and it just proves that many feet can make light work. I'm not going to tell you how much you have raised so far, I will save that for when we are all together, but keep spreading the word.

Don't forget: tell the world you did it!

Visit the WalkWear stand for lots of fantastic clothing (back in-stock hoodies, arm sleeves, jackets), treats and goodies. Make a visit after you cross the Finish Line to buy your Finishers T shirt for £15.99. Limited stock is available on the day or you can go on line and order yours from WalkWear.org from 15th to the 22nd May!

That's it for now

I just want to say that whether you are a multi MoonWalker or taking on the challenge for the first time, this is not just another Walk in the park this is something extraordinary so enjoy every minute and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
