Get walking and sign up for The MoonWalk London 2023

Blue Monday (16th January) is allegedly the most depressing day of the year. After the excesses of the festive season, by this date, many of us have already giving up on our New Year’s resolutions and are lacking motivation.

Why not set yourself a fun and achievable challenge, by signing up for The MoonWalk London 2023? At Midnight on Saturday 20th May, thousands of women and men wearing brightly decorated bras will take on a Half Moon (15.1 miles) or Full Moon (26.2 miles) walking challenge to raise money for breast cancer charity Walk the Walk.

Here are five good reasons to sign up now at www.walkthewalk.org :-

  • Walking is hugely beneficial for your mental health – it’s empowering, relaxing, improves your concentration and focus, reduces stress levels and improves your mood
  • Walking is very accessible for women and men of all abilities –step out of your front door and go, then build up your walking slowly at your own pace
  • No gym membership is required. The world is one big, outdoor spa!
  • Signing up for The MoonWalk London 2023 will give you a goal to aim for
  • You’ll be making a difference! Walk the Walk grants money raised at The MoonWalk to fund research into breast cancer and to support those living with cancer now

The iconic MoonWalk London - starting and finishing at Clapham Common - is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. People of all ages will be uniting together for the same cause at this fun, joyous, colourful and emotional event. Walk the Walk is excited to announce that it will be awarding £1 million from its reserves. The money will be granted to other breast cancer causes across the UK, where it can achieve the most good at this time.
